Chairman's Greetings

The Department of Business Administration(DBA) at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens started two years ago with high goals to gain a place among the top business administration programs.
The establishment of the DBA stems from the recognition of the critical role played by the strengthening of the Greek economy with well-trained professionals who should have the necessary scientific knowledge and skills for the good management of companies and organizations.
We at DBA are committed to providing the basic foundations in the science of business administration by adopting the principle of coupling theory with the application of management principles. The result is the connection of education with the economy through opportunities for cooperation with companies and organizations, providing students with a comprehensive educational experience. The vision of the Department of Business Administration is the creation of high quality educational programs that lead to academic excellence and their connection with companies, organizations and the economy, in general, to build conditions for a responsible future. The Department of DEO started its operation in the academic year 2019-20, welcoming its first students in October 2019. It is addressed to graduates of secondary education who wish to be trained in modern scientific, research and applied requirements in Business and Management Science They envision becoming excellent scientists, successful executives and, above all, worthy leaders who will contribute to a better future for our society. Besides having Greek students in our program, it welcomes students from European universities through the Erasmus program starting in Autumn 2021.
The carefully designed Curriculum of the new Department aims to provide specialized knowledge and modern business approach on the various functions of the company, such as Management, Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Communication, Business Research, Human Resource Management and Management Information Systems.
